Belaku means Light. The border area of Karnataka and Goa in Kali reserve forest area receives heavy rainfall through out the year and there are frequent power outages in the area. Students could only study during daytime and during night time they used to rely on conventional lamps. Under Belaku project, we issued solar lamps which can be used by students during night time for studying. As part of this project, we will identify such areas and work to support students with Solar lamps
