Neravu means join hands to Support. Many of us love shopping and try to get as many new clothes as possible every time we hit shopping. As a result many of our wardrobes are full of clothes and we don’t have an idea how to get rid of them. We them came up with a plan of donating gently used clothes to the needy folks and we came up with a Project Neravu which means joining hands to support! We have established donation centers in 15 cities across DFW area which is managed by individual city leads. We review collaborate, segregate and donate clothes locally. We also ship clothes back to India which are donated to the needy people. We have so far shipped around 2000 lbs of clothes to Karnataka, India. This has become a wider initiative where we have joined hands with Austin Kannada Sangha and other organizations to extend our project to the cities outside of DFW area.
